दरशन कीजै साधु का, दिन में कई कई बार। असोजा का मेह ज्यों, बहुत करे उपकार।।५६२।।
Visit the saint's sight many times a day. Just as the monsoon rains do great good, so does frequent sight of the saint.
कई बार नहिं कर सके, दोय बख्त करि लेय। कबीर साधु दरश ते, काल दगा नहिं देय।।५६३।।
One who cannot bathe often, should bathe twice a day. Kabir says, the sight of a saint does not deceive.
दोख बखत नहिं करि सके, दिन में करु इक बार। कबीर साधु दरश ते, उतरे भौजल पार।।५६४।।
One cannot accomplish anything in a short time; do it at least once a day. Kabir says, through the sight of a saint, one can cross the ocean of life.
एक दिना नहिं करि सके, दूजे दिन कर लेह। कबीर साधु दरश ते, पावै उत्तम देह।।५६५।।
If you cannot do it today, then do it the next day. Kabir says, through the sight of a saint, you will attain a superior body.
दूजे दिन नहिं करि सके, तीजे दिन करु जाय। कबीर साधु दरश ते, मोक्ष मुक्ति फल पाय।।५६६।।
If you cannot do it the next day, then do it on the third day. Kabir says, through the sight of a saint, one can attain liberation and salvation.
तीजे चौथे नहिं करे, बार-बार करु जाय। यामें विलंब न कीजिये, कहैं कबीर समुझाय।।५६७।।
If you do not do it on the third or fourth day, then do it repeatedly. Do not delay in this; Kabir advises to understand this.
पाख पाख नहिं करि सकै, मास-मास करु जाय। यामें देर न लाइये, कहैं कबीर समुझाय।।५६८।।
If you cannot do it seasonally, then do it monthly. Do not delay in this; Kabir advises to understand this.
मास-मास नहिं करि सकै, छठै मास अलबत्त। यामें ढील न कीजिए, कहैं कबीर अविगत।।५६९।।
If you cannot do it monthly, then do it every six months. Do not slack in this; Kabir advises to be persistent.
बरस-बरस नहिं करि सकै, ताको लागे दोष। कहैं कबीर वा जीव सो, कबहु न पावै मोष।।५७०।।
If one cannot do it year after year, they are at fault. Kabir says, such a soul will never attain liberation.
मात पिता सुत स्त्री, आलस बन्धु कानि। साधु दरश को जब चलै, ये अटकावै आनि।।५७१।।
Mother, father, son, wife, laziness, and friends can cause hindrance. When a saint walks towards the path of truth, these obstacles come in the way.
साधु शब्द समुद्र है, जामें रतन भराय। मन्द भाग मुट्ठी भरै, कंकर हाथ लगाय।।५७२।।
The words of the saint are like an ocean filled with jewels. A fortunate person may receive a handful of those jewels, while the unfortunate may only touch pebbles.
साधु मिले यह सब टलै, काल-हाल जम चोट। शीश नवावत ढहि परै, अघ्ज्ञ पापन के पोट।।५७३।।
All troubles are alleviated when one meets a saint. Time, circumstances, and death are but minor inconveniences. When one bows to a saint, the burden of sins is lifted.
साधु भूखा भाव का, धन का भूखा नाहिं। धन का भूखा जो फिरै, सो तो साधु नाहिं।।५७४।।
A saint is hungry only for spiritual feelings, not for material wealth. One who wanders in search of wealth is not a true saint.
कंचन दीया करन ने, द्रौपदी दीया चीर। जो दीया सो पाइया, ऐसे कहैं कबीर।।५७५।।
Gold can be used to create a lamp, and the lamp can be used to tear Draupadi's cloth. The one who understands this truth is a true follower, says Kabir.
दुख सुख एक समान है, हरष शोक नहिं व्याप। उपकारी निहकामता, उपजै छोह न ताप।।५७६।।
Pain and pleasure are the same, there is no attachment to joy or sorrow. The one who is truly compassionate remains unaffected by these emotions and does not suffer from heat or cold.
साधु बड़े परमारथी, धन ज्यों बरसे आय। तपन बुझावैं और की, अपनो पारस लाय।।५७७।।
The true saint is dedicated to the welfare of others, like rain that falls to nourish the earth. He can extinguish the heat and bring transformation just like the philosopher's stone.
साधु आवत देखि कर, हंसी हमारी देह। माथा का ग्रह ऊतरा, नैनन बढ़ा स्नेह।।५७८।।
Upon seeing a saint, our body is filled with joy. The burden on the forehead is lifted, and the eyes are filled with affection.
साधु भौंरा जग कली, निश दिन फिरै उदास। टुक टुक तहां बिलंबिया, जहं शीतल शब्द निवास।।५७९।।
The saint is like a bee in the world, constantly moving about with a melancholic demeanor. He stays in places where cool words and peace reside.
मानपमान न चित्त धरै, औरत को सनमान। जो कोई आशा करै, उपदेशै तेहि ज्ञान।।५८०।।
One should not be attached to social status or honor, but should instead respect and honor others. Those who seek knowledge will find it through teachings.
