सब कुछ गुरु के पास है, पाइये अपने भाग। सेवक मन सौप्यां रहै, रहैं चरण में लाग।।६८२।।
Everything is with the Guru; one obtains it by their destiny. The true servant submits their mind and remains devoted at the Guru's feet.
यह सब लच्छन चित्त धरे, अपलच्छन सब त्याग। सावधन सम ध्यान है, गुरु चरनन में लाग।।६८३।।
Hold onto these qualities in your mind and discard all that is undesirable. True attention is focused on the Guru's feet.
गुरुमुख गुरु आज्ञा चलै, छांड़ि दे सब काम। कहैं कबीर गुरुदेव को, तुरत करै परणाम।।६८४।।
A disciple who follows the Guru's command should abandon all other tasks. Kabir says, such a devotee promptly offers respect to the Guru.
निरबन्धन बंधा रहै, बंधा निरबंध होय। कर्म करै करता नहीं, दास कहावै सोय।।६८५।।
The one who is bound by ties is bound by no ties at all. A person who does not perform actions is called a true servant.
लगा रहै सतज्ञान सो, सबही बन्धन तोड़। कहैं कबीर वा दास सो, काल रहै हथ जोड़।।६८६।।
One who is absorbed in true knowledge breaks all bonds. Kabir says, such a person is a true servant and remains safe from the clutches of time.
काहूं को न संतापिये, जो शिर हंता होय। फिर फिर वाकूं बन्दिये, दास लच्छ है सोय।।६८७।।
Do not trouble anyone who is constantly troubled; the one who repeatedly turns to words is considered to be a true servant.
निहकामी निरमल दशा, नित चरणों की आश। तीरथ इच्छा ता करै, कब आवै वे दास।।६८८।।
One who is free from desires and maintains a pure state, always hoping for the Guru's presence, performs pilgrimage as a true devotee.
सुख दुख सिर ऊपरे सहै, कबहु न छाड़े संग। रंग न लागै और का, व्यापै सतगुरु रंग।।६८९।।
One who endures both pleasure and pain without abandoning their association, is dyed in the true color of the Guru, which is beyond all other hues.
कबीर गुरु कै भावते, दूरहि ते दीसन्त। तन छीना मन अनमना, जग के खठि फिरन्त।।६९०।।
Kabir says, the Guru’s essence is visible even from afar. The body is worn out, the mind is restless, while the world remains ignorant.
दासातन हिरदै नहीं, नाम धरावै दास। पानी के पीये बिना, कैसे मिटै पियास।।६९१।।
A true servant does not possess pride; they are known by their devotion. Without drinking water, how can thirst be quenched?
दासातन हिरदै बसै, साधुन सों आधीन। कहैं कबीर सो दास है, प्रेम भक्ति लवलीन।।६९२।।
A true servant resides in the heart and is devoted to the saints. Kabir says such a servant is absorbed in love and devotion.
दास कहावन कठिन है, मैं दासन का दास। अब तो होय रहूं, पांव तले की घास।।६९३।।
To be called a servant is difficult; I am a servant of servants. Now, I remain like the grass underfoot.
कबीर कुल सोई भला, जो कुल उपजै दास। जा कुल दास न ऊपजे, सो कुल आक पलास।।६९४।।
Kabir says, a family is truly noble if it produces a servant. A family where no servant is born is like a barren wasteland.
गुरु समरथ सिर पर खड़े, कहा कमी तोहि दास। रिद्धि-सिद्धि सेवा करैं, मुक्ति न छाड़े पास।।६९५।।
The Guru stands supreme; what deficiency do you perceive, O servant? Wealth and powers may serve, but they do not abandon the pursuit of liberation.
कबीर गुरु सबको चहै, गुरु को चहै न कोय। जब लग आश शरीर की, तब लग दास न होय।।६९६।।
Kabir says, the Guru desires for everyone, but no one desires the Guru. As long as there is hope in the body, one cannot be a true servant.
कबीर गुरु की भक्ति का, मन में बहुत हुलास। मन-मनसा माजै नहीं, होन चहत है दास।।६९७।।
Kabir says, devotion to the Guru brings great joy to the mind. If the mind is not pure, one cannot be a true servant.
निर्पक्षी की भक्ति है, निर्मोही को ज्ञान। निरद्वंदी की मुक्ति है, निर्लोभी निर्बान।।६९८।।
Devotion of the impartial brings knowledge; the knowledge of the detached leads to liberation. The free from conflict attain final peace.
भक्ति भाव भादौ नदी, सबहि चली घहराय। सरिता सोई सराहिये, जेठ मास ठहराय।।६९९।।
The feeling of devotion flows like the river in the rainy season, widespread and abundant. The river that flows in the summer is truly commendable.
तिमिर गया रवि देखते, कुमति गयी गुरु ज्ञान। सुमति गयी अति लोभते, भक्ति गयी अभिमान।।७००।।
When darkness departs, the sun is visible; similarly, ignorance leaves with the knowledge of the guru. Goodness fades with excessive greed, and devotion is lost with pride.
