    कबीर बहुत जतन करि कीजिये, सब फल जाय नसाय। कबीर संचै सूम धन, अन्‍त चोर लै जाय।।१७३२।।

    Kabir says, despite much effort, all the fruits may be lost. Kabir advises to accumulate true wealth, for in the end, the thief takes it all.

    रात्‍यूं रूंनी बिरहनीं, ज्‍यूं बंची कूं कुंज। कबीर अंतर प्रजल्‍या, प्रगट्या बिरहा पुंज।।१७३६।।

    The night is spent in separation, like a deer in a thicket. Kabir says, within the soul is a burning flame, and separation manifests as a bundle of pain.

    बासुरि सुख नां रैणि सुख, ना सुख सुपिनै मांहि। कबीर बिछुट्या राम सूं , नां सुख धूप न छांह।।१७३९।।

    The flute does not bring happiness, nor does the night. Neither does sleep provide joy. Kabir says, those separated from Ram, neither find pleasure in sunlight nor shade.
