तो तो करै त बाहुड़ो, दूरि-दूरि करै तो जाउं। ज्यूं हरि राखै त्यूं रहौ, जो देवै सो खाउं।।१८४२।।
Whether you move away or stay close, I will follow as Hari directs. I eat what the Lord provides.
मन प्रतीति न प्रेम रस, नां इस तन मैं ढंग। क्या जाणौं उस पीव सूं, कैसे रहसी रंग।।१८४३।।
The mind does not grasp the essence of love, nor is there a method in this body. How can we know the true color of the beloved?
उस संम्रथ का दास हौं, कदे न होइ अकाज। प्रतिब्रता नंगी रहै, तौ उसकी पारिस कौ लाज।।१८४४।।
I am a servant of the almighty, never is there any undone work. The servant remains naked, thus he is the pride of his master.
धरि परमेसरू पांहणां, सुणौं सनेही दास। षट रस भोजन भगति करि, ज्यूं कदे न छाड पास।।१८४५।।
Holding the supreme Lord in my heart, I listen to the beloved servant. I partake in the six tastes of devotion, never leaving it behind.
कबीर मधि अंग जेको रहै, तौ तिरत न लागै बार। दुइ दुइ अंग सूं लागि करि, डूबत है संसार।।१८४६।।
If someone remains focused on the inner self, pilgrimage has no significance. Engaging in dualities leads to drowning in the world.
अनल अकांसा घर किया, मधि निरंतर बास। बसुधा ब्यौम बिरकत रहै, बिनठाहर बिसवास।।१८४७।।
The home of the fire (desire) is within, where it continuously resides. The earth and the sky are distant; faith resides beyond them.
बासुरि गमि न रैंणि गमि, नां सुपनैं तरगंम। कबीर तहां बिलंबिया, जाहं छाहड़ो न घंम।।१८४८।।
The flute does not travel, nor does it wander; it remains at rest. Kabir says, there is no delay where there is no shadow or ego.
जिहि पैडे पंडित गए, दुनिया परी बहीर। औघट घाटी गुर कही, तिहिं चढ़ि रह्या कबीर।।१८४९।।
Where the learned scholars have gone, the world has turned outward. Kabir remains in the sacred place described by the Guru.
सुरग नगर थैं दुंर रह्या, सतगुर के प्रसादि। चरन कंवल की मौज मैं, रहिरय अंतिरु आदि।।१८५०।।
Far from the heavenly city, I remain blessed by the grace of the True Guru. I dwell in the bliss of the lotus feet, remaining in the beginning and the end.
हिंदू मूये राम कहि, मुसलमान खुदाइ। कहै कबीर सो जीवता, दुई मैं कदे न जाइ।।१८५१।।
The Hindu calls God Ram, the Muslim calls Him Khuda. Kabir says that He is ever-living; He does not belong to either of the two.
दुखिया मूवा दुख कों, सुखिया सुख को झूरि। सदा अनंदी राम के, जिनि सुख दुख मेल्हे दूरि।।१८५२।।
The unhappy one dies in sorrow, the happy one lives in pleasure. The truly blissful one is with Ram, who transcends the dualities of joy and sorrow.
कबीर हरदी पीयरी, चूना ऊजल भाइ। राम सनेही यूं मिले, दुन्यूं बरन गंवाइ।।१८५३।।
Kabir says that the saffron is yellow and the lime is bright. Those who meet Ram with love, forsake the world’s colors.
काबा फिर कासी भया, राम भया रहीम। मोट चून मैदा भया, बैठि कबीरा जीम।।१८५४।।
The Kaaba became Kashi, Ram became Rahim. Flour, sugar, and bread are present; Kabir sits and eats.
धरती अरु असमान बिचि, दोइ तूंबड़ा अवध। षट दरसन संसै पड्या, अरु चौसारी सिध।।१८५५।।
Between the earth and the sky, there are two vessels of the sacred city. Six views are in doubt, and forty-two are the paths to realization.
कबीर सांई तो मिलहगै, पूछिहिंगे कुसलात। आदि अंति की कहूंगा, उर अंतर की बात।।१८५६।।
Kabir says, when you meet the Lord, He will inquire about your well-being. I will tell Him everything from the beginning to the end, the innermost secrets of my heart.
कबीर भूलि बिगाड़िया, तूं नां करि मैला चित। साहिब गरवा लोड़िये, नफर बिगाड़ैं नित।।१८५७।।
Kabir says, don't ruin your mind with mistakes and keep it pure. Seek the Lord's protection, as people constantly cause harm.
करता करै बहुत गुंण, औगुंण कोई नांहि। जे दिल खोजौं आपणीं, तौ सब औगुण मुझ मांहि।।१८५८।।
The Creator possesses countless virtues, and no flaws exist. If I search my heart, I find all flaws within me.
औसर बीता अलपतन, पीस रह्मा परदेस। कलंक उतारी केसवां, भांनौ भरंम अंदेश।।१८५९।।
The time for repentance is short, and you are wasting it in ignorance. Remove the stains of sin, for illusion and doubt have taken over.
कबीर करत है बीनती, भौसागर के तांई। बंदे ऊपरि जोर होत है, जंम कूं बारिज गुसाई।।१८६०।।
Kabir pleads to the Lord, for the ocean of life is vast. The burden on the soul is great, and rebirths are countless.
